Jacques Torres has earned the title "Mr. Chocolate." He was the youngest chef ever to win France's prestigious M.O.F medal in Pastry, then moved to the United States, where he became a James Beard Award-winning pastry chef. He is the author of three books, has hosted his own television series on Food Network, and is the dean of pastry arts at the International Culinary Center. Chef Torres opened his namesake chocolate shop in Brooklyn more than 15 years ago, and today boasts an artisan chocolate factory and nine shop locations.
