Doug and Jared take you out in the field with them in the northern Rockies to photograph grizzly bears. It’s springtime, and the bears have just come out of hibernation with their cubs to forage for food. Doug and Jared give you both technical and creative tips on how to capture interesting shots of the bears. They also demonstrate and instruct you on safety precautions to take to steer clear of the bears, not draw their attention, and what to do if a bear charges you. They tell you the best weapon to take with you, and you might be surprised to learn it’s not a gun or a taser.
