Walk, Sweat, Sculpt - Upper Body
Chris FreytagDescription
This walk and sculpt combination will give you some basic indoor walking and movement for the heart and legs along with some simple but challenging upper body sculpt moves. Grab a set of dumbbells and join in the fun! Start with lighter dumbbells and go heavier when ready for a challenge.
Guided by Chris Freytag with some help from Leah and Lindsey, you’ll be motivated and inspired to have a little fun while you sweat. The beauty of an indoor power walking program is you don’t have to worry about the weather or even the time of day! Just turn on our video and get your body moving right in the comfort of your own home.
In this workout you’ll start with some simple indoor walking and basic warm-up moves for five minutes. Then you’ll pick up those weights and get to the sculpting. You’ll tackle the chest with push-ups and chest fly’s and then the opposing muscle group with a bent-over row and Superman for back strength. Just when your muscles start to burn you’ll be back to another round of power walking.
Once you’ve tackled those larger upper body muscles you’ll move into the smaller, more defining muscles such as biceps, triceps and shoulders. Curls, kickbacks and even army crawls are all on the menu. Every upper body muscle is covered by the time you’re done! GHU knows you want to sculpt your back and shoulders so be ready for a fun move called arm arcs to appear as well. We even tackle some core strength because everyone wants to work the core! And when you are ready for an extra challenge, check out our Upper Body Resculpt workout which will take it up another notch! Now, grab some dumbbells and join in the fun of this walk and sculpt routine!
