Professional wildlife photographer Doug Gardner remarked that his trip to Alaska to photograph big game animals was nothing short of amazing. In this video series, Doug shows you how he captures images of brown bear, caribou, moose, and more. In a shallow mountain lake, he photographs the Alaskan brown bear feeding on spawning salmon. To capture the herding caribou, he crawls the cold tundra until he gets within range of the herd, then waits patiently for the photo opportunities. Later, Doug photographs a bull moose and his cows feeding in the willow thickets of a majestic mountain valley. As a bonus, Doug interviews his guide and pilot, Glen Alsworth, whose grandparents homesteaded in the Alaskan wilderness.
