Duration:   7  mins

Description

For landscape photographers, the sunrise image is iconic. In this video, outdoor photographer Adam Barker takes you to Utah’s Provo River for tips on how to make your sunrise pictures shine.

Adam photographs a fly fisherman and incorporates a landscape into the scene. As the sun rises over the mountains, it backlights the fisherman through the dramatic mist. Adam exposes for the highlights, the fisherman in silhouette. He shoots multiple exposures and experiments with various angles. “When you find your ideal composition,” he says, “shoot it in many different ways to get your best shot.”
