Photographing the Majestic Cascade Peak
Adam BarkerDescription
To isolate the peak, Adam uses an extender on his telephoto lens. Because of the longer focal length, he keeps his tripod’s center column low to avoid camera vibration. He divides the landscape into horizontal thirds and experiments with different filters, settling on a warming polarizer with various ND Grad filters for bracketing exposures. Later on, he shows you how to create panoramic images.
Hike Utah’s mountains with professional shooter Adam Barker for tips on using filters to capture Cascade Peak.
