Description

In this photo forum, outdoor photographer Doug Gardner gives you tips on photographing birds in the wild. He suggests using a waterproof equipment case with foam dividers for your gear. If you are wading in the water, you can use a soft-sided dry bag for your equipment. Place this bag, your blind, and your tripod into a mortar mixing tub that floats, and you have all you need to capture waterfowl.

Doug further emphasizes shooting tips including how to scout locations, the importance of camouflage, how to gauge the wind and sunlight, correct metering, ideal shutter speeds, and more.
