Image Composition: Frame with Color

Jim Zuckerman
Duration:   2  mins

Description

Framing with color can often make for a beautiful image composition. Professional photographer Jim Zuckerman takes you to a churchyard in Maine for some photography framing tips.

Jim finds a large tree festooned with backlit autumn leaves in front of a classic old church.

Through an extreme wide-angle lens, he shows you how to frame the church within an opening between the tree branches, allowing the contrast to heighten the composition. He also suggests trying different angles in both vertical and horizontal formats.

Get behind pro shooter Jim Zuckerman in the churchyard as he shows you how color framing works wonders in creating a memorable photograph.
