      Description

Shooting with a digital infrared camera has gained interest among serious photographers. In this video, professional photographer Tony Sweet takes you through the digital infrared process of photography.

You will learn how to choose the ideal lighting and color elements to accommodate an infrared scene. In bright sunlight, Tony photographs a pond, and green lily pads surrounding a bright violet flower. With the digital infrared format, measuring light should be precise. Tony suggests bracketing your compositions until you get the right one.

In post-production, you might want to use software editing tools to add the infrared glow associated with traditional film.
