Lorna Knight grew up surrounded by fabric and patterns, so it's no surprise that she went on to study sewing and textiles. While working as a regional director for couture designer Terry Fox, she discovered the inside secrets of the couture world. Lorna eventually set up her own business making custom clothing and running specialist sewing workshops throughout the UK. She has written five books, including Dressmaking to Flatter your Shape, Compendium of Sewing Techniques and The Dressmaker’s Technique Bible.
