Description

Want an applique look without the applique? Give this fun and simple technique a try with art quilter, Heather Thomas.

Stack up as many as five layers of fabrics, with batting and backing, stitch up a fun design such as flowers, butterflies, a bold sun, leaves or a bold modern composition then cut away the fabrics in the various sections to reveal different layers of color.

This is a great technique for anyone who likes to make wall quilts and pictorials. There is no limit to what you can stitch out then cut out!

As part of this class you will also receive a supply list and detailed document for creating your own Cut Work Quilt.
