Amanda Murphy
A lifelong sewer, Amanda Murphy discovered quilting after moving to North Carolina with her family. Quilting combined Amanda's education in design with her love of handwork, and her growing collection of wonderful quilts led her to create Amanda Murphy Design. She has designed several fabric lines for Blend fabrics and her own full-color pattern line highlighted by clear, graphic diagrams. Her first embroidery collection, Modern Blossoms, is based on some of these quilting collections. Amanda is also the author of two books, Modern Holiday, and Color Essentials.
